Purchased this last night along with some RAF buttons and shoulder eagles, it is 115 mm across and old bullion wire with 2 metal screwed posts through the whole badge with round nuts . I am guessing its a civil airline badge but I cannot find, it any information greatfully received

No idea about the badge, but if those initials are NFD, there was a German regional commuter airline called Nürnberger Flugdienst which used that acronym.

Cheers, Pat.
