Early SA Orders of Precedence

Hello All

Can anyone help me with an official order of precedence list of units or other verified list of units from earlier than the 1980s?

Thanks for that; it does help.

What I am looking for is official (or at least reliable) lists of South African units prior to 1980.

Also any recent list of units (post '98) as I am far away from SA at the moment and the information published on the SANDF websites is not entirely accurate.

The SADF military orders listing all units in order of precedence are very nice snapshots of the units at a particular time, with their correct names at the time, while the annual reports that the Union Defence Forces used to publish were nice sources of information as well.
