RECORD PRICE REALISED FOR A FORMATION SIGN
I have been reading, on line, BOSLEYS AUCTION NEWS. Under the heading Bosleys World Record Prices I see that a cloth formation sign, at some time, realised £3,575. Can any forum member tell us 'rag pickers' what this formation sign was/is? Just in case I have a couple of spares without knowing it. Thank you in advance.

I believe it was the "D" troop badge.

Hi Guy’s,
My memory might be a little frayed but I seem to remember it was (Army Commando) No4 Company from 55th West Lancashire Division (round patch with rose and ‘4’) peters book page 40. I seem to remember looking it up at the time. Roy. |

Hi Nemo,
I think you're right. Come to think of it the No4/rose may have been around 2,500 ish. I know it was a hell of a lot! Roy. |
