Default Atrist's Rifle's Badge Good?

Hi all, Here is an Artist's Rifle's Cap Badge. But is it a good one?
And is it WWI Or WWII Or just another Reproduction Cap Badge!

Again thanks for any help.

I believe this is the very same badge. But aged by some one! (I'm not saying that this seller did it)

The one in your link isn't the same badge, quite a few differences main one being it's an original badge

Hi Gerard, I have looked at this badge and it is exactly the same: die / feet / soldiering. But as I said it has been aged at some time in it's life id say.

Both badges are from the same stable made from the OSD die, notice the notch on Minerva’s hair where it doesn’t quite flow to reach the scroll above the ‘L’ of RIFLES.

I would not buy either badge.

Cheers,
Luke

Thanks Luke,
I stand corrected, always good to keep learning

This badge is one I would only buy if it had a provenance.
I know it was an OTC unit but the sheer number of badly lugged badges raises alarms and has done in the 30 years of my collecting.

Here's my one for comparison, the hair does reach the scroll on this one, lugs have feet (not all footed lugs are bad by the way, see Gaunt catalogue) with one larger than the other, the lugs were pinched but opened up a bit. The reverse of this is smooth unlike the rough finish on the rear of the badge in the opening post.
