Bought this badge for £1.20 on eBay, assuming it is a copy.Can somebody just confirm its a dud.

It is a bit difficult to say without having it in hand, but judging from the picture, it does not look good. The reverse should be very sharply defined on these and the lugs to not have the expected age to them.

The lugs do look new, as you say, although it is a very crisp striking, the detail on the face is very good. My opinion is its a dud.
