QUEENS Pagri Flash
I bought this at a local flea market yesterday I think its a pagri flash/patch but I am unsure which regiment it is attributed to. Red lettering very faded on dark blue wool. Any help gratefully received.
Thanks Mark |

Almost certainly Queens Royal Regiment, West Surrey. A nice little find and the museum at Clandon Park will be more than happy to help and advise.

It's different than the one currently on offer on Buywyze.

Fairly sure that different badges are worn by each battalion,

The museum at Clandon will be most helpful if you enquire.

Queen's Royal Regiment (west Surrey) pagri flash picked up today, and I assume it is more likely to be WWII rather than Boer war or WWI

Jerry,
I think yours is a slouch hat badge, worn in the Far East towards the end of WW2. I think there is one in my album of badges collected at the end of war. Stephen. |
