Default The Jewel in the Crown

This image of "Capt Ronald Merrick" accompanied the actor Tim Pigott-Smith's obituary in the Daily Telegraph last Saturday. He and "Capt Teddy Bingham" are wearing one of the very convincing formation signs devised for this series. Does anyone know what their cap badge looked like - in close-up? Mike

Can't help with the cap badge but here is a shot of the incorrect white on green shoulder title worn by Charles Dance playing Sergeant Guy Perron of Field Security.

Mike,

This is the best I can find...

The central device appears to be an elephant.

There was another photo of Merrick when he was a police officer, which showed a cap badge.
