WW1 15th Division Artillery Staff Armband
For interest 15th Scottish Division Royal Artillery CRA Staff Armband. A bit stained but I was very pleased to get it. The Div Sign was worn on helmets but not as a Div Patch.

A superb item - the logic of the 15 Div sign has always intrigued me. Very clever play on word and image. Mike

The triangular symbol represents a "scotch", a wedge if I recall correctly?
I don't know why the circle. |

One cannot get much neater than that! The 15th letter O survived into the Second World War design, but the scotch was replaced by a Scottish heraldic lion. Mike
