Poss Roxburghshire Yeomanry ????

This button was found near Kelso which is bang in the middle of Roxburghshire Yeomanry territory.
But we can not find any examples on line to match it (or disprove the tentative idea).
Its a standard 2 piece domed type button with a tottally blank reverse.

It would be apprecated if any of you experts could help.
