Default Unknown Device Looks Foreign

Can anyone identify this locket/ brooch, it has a military like scene with a lady holding a flag and shield, a cannon and an airplane of some sort. A photo inside and brooch fitting on the back.

Thanking you,
Phil.

The cannon looks like a french 75,the coat of arm is for Alsace-Lorraine and the woman it seems is wearing the national dress of Alsace-Lorraine.So,a patriotic locket about when A-L went back to France....

Jo's reply is what I call a real good answer to a question.

The aeroplane looks a bit earlier than the date of annexation. Artistic license?
