Very nice Jerry, I have to say that I've always rather liked this maker, although, I prefer their earlier wares, the last couple of Dowler made badges I have found were anodised and were mine for just a few pounds.

It being a Dowler was why I bought it Frank. It and another AA badge were a fiver for the pair, the other being a Gaunt RE with metal slider AA badge which had an appeal as I did not gave an AA with such a setup.

Hello Jerry,
They are certainly nice things, these were the last two, I mentioned, the Ulster Defence Regiment is a pleasing and very attractive pale gold.

I picked up another Dowler AA badge today, the beret badge for the R A., thpugh mostly I got it because I did not have an AA for the RA, rather than because it was a Dowler.
