LOL Jerry, your TKS looks at little tarnished, if you let go black, it will look, well, somehow wrong, perhaps give it gentle a wipe!

Added a Gaunt B'ham to my collection but missed a Gaunt London that was for sale on the forum just yesterday.

This has a golden tint to the front?

slider marked Dowler Birmingham
Slider marked JR Gaunt Bham

Silver AA with slider:-

Kings crown - blank (yeah right)
Smith & Wright (early font and slider)
JR Gaunt London
JR Gaunt Bham
LB&B
Grove MFG (metal slider)
Dowler Birmingham
HW Timings Ltd Bham
Blank slider

Silver AA with lugs:-

LB&B made in England
blank
blank - with odd flattened wings which appear short.

If anyone can add to this list, I'd be all ears!

All the best gents for the weekend

Bess
I have recently seen two blackened AA by LB&B, though one of them looked as if perhaps it had been painted.

Don't get too disheartened Jerry, they are certainly around and can often be had for surprisingly little!
Allison has a Timings example which only seldom seem to turn up.

An older, ex-post-war British Army gentleman gave me this one a few days ago. Queen's crown, unvoided, unmarked brass slider weighing in at 8.3 g. No history other than that.
