Default A mystery solved!!

At last a mystery solved, the power of research pays dividends for me with a badge I have had this QWV badge for a few years with no positive ID but I have the loan of a few Regimental Orders and was delighted to find the attached note under badges, from the November 1900 to October 1901 orders. Made my day that has You can't beat the old records for this invaluable info, magnificent stuff,
A very happy,
Wilf

Queen's Westminster Volunteers was my first thought when I saw your first post - BUT - Thoughts are just that, until proved by great research such as you have undertaken. Yet again the mantra 'Research, Research and more Research' rings true!
Thanks for sharing
If you have an interest in The London Regiment have you seen Bosleys latest?

Just goes to show what can be found in old books. I always found the 'Gentleman's Gazette' full of unknown or forgotten facts.
