Default Cartouche pouch & badge Help Please

Although not a collector to the KOYLI, can anyone help me date this cartouche / dispatch pouch please ?
As the badge is white metal am I correct in thinking it is 'Volunteers'
Any help appreciated.
Regards
Destro

Destro, no ideas but it is a lovely piece. Some one may comment on it soon.

Default KOYLI Cartouche pouch badge

Rather than start a new thread I've added to an existing to keep all information in the same place.

I bought this badge thinking it was a KOYLI headdress badge but to my surprise it is much larger (59x38mm), and appears to be modern. It is probably chromed rather than silver gilt.

Is this a cartouche/ pouch badge or something else?

Thanks, Stephen.

Theres a volunteers KOYLI pouch with badge on e..y at the moment.
Im pretty sure the 1st Btn one is gilt with a white rose whearas the TA Btn one was in white metal or silver plate.

Default KOYLI Cartouche pouch badge

Mike,

There is a close resemblance between the two items, inly mine is not so well made. Perhaps it is a later TA version?

I've added the link for other members to access.

This latter is a bandsman’s pouch (aka ‘music case’) badge, a different thing to a VB (Rifles style) pouch.
