Please Mike, don't mention such things! I don't want to even think of the rarity of these possible badges, let alone the price, or the possibility of getting one. Although, if they do ever come up for bids... ... perhaps? W |

Hi William,
That's an interesting list, I have not seen No 19 on your list either! From an earlier post, yes OC 14 sold me the sliderless R. Artillery beret badge made from a "Firmin" die, many years ago. There may well be a few more surprises to come over the next few years with new "finds" of a/a badges happening each year! Lets hope so. Some may say that many of these badges were never authorised for issue - but at the end of the day it's for the collector to decide whether he wants an unissued rarity, that does exist in his collection or not. I know of 3 others not on your list to take it up to 25. 1. Staffordshire Yeomanry K.C 2. Kings Own Scottish Borderers K.C 3. Royal Artillery (beret) K.C Regards Colin |

Thanks for confirming that Colin - I’d actually remembered that I’d sold you that badge but didn’t want to mention that without your permission!

Hi Paul,
Yes no problem, I'm hoping within the next 10 years you will find another for me with a slider! lol. Regards Colin |

Following this thread I can see a bunch of dodgy dealers running off to the badge makers to have a load of KC A/A badges made for the emerging 'new find' A/A market.
Don't be taken in guys as quite a few of those KC badges described here are ex Gaylor or Pakistan. Regards, Chris |
