I picked these up on ebay thought they were interesting having the makers details and date 44 for 1944.Roger

Nice to see the issue strips on backing cloth, I believe there are several types. I recently pick up the soldiers housewife kit with some Royal Artillery officers items. It shows that some were issued as simple strips that the man would have to cut and sew himself
