slidered RA OSD collar
There are no signs of this grenade ever having been lugged. Anyone seen one before?

Strange how these things turn up, I have never seen on Officers Version at all, and before earlier this year I had never seen an ORs version either. Now I have seen 3 ORs and your Officers version.

I suppose there is a possibility that they could have been worn by any of the Commonwealth Countries Artillery.
Then again it could be that some one has read that the collar badge was worn in headdress and as a cap badge should have a slider. Marc |

Not Australian.
Didn't Transvaal Horse Artillery wear the OSD badge in their beret during the 60s and 70s? Keith |

British RA wore the grenade collar badge as cap badge during WWII, but lugged, not slidered.

Looks like a fakers more than a makers variation to me?

Andy you may well be right, my curiosity got the better of me on this one. The slider is slightly thinner than usual.
