Default Bridle Bit Boss Badge

This is a unit that I didn’t think I would ever pick up a badge to.
This is a complete bridle bit with both boss badges for the 1st Glamorgan Light Cavalry Volunteers. Formed in 1861 with headquarters at Cardiff, later attached to 1st Admin Batt’n Glamorgan Artillery Volunteers & disappeared in 1873. This was a very small unit with only one Captain, one Lieutenant & two Cornets, plus medical & veterinary officers. As such a very scarce item. Now to get to work on bringing it back to its best.
As ever my thanks to Brookies for donating the ephemera in the op to me.

Thanks Chris, I just have to wonder how long Mrs. T will let me leave it hanging on the 18th C Welsh Dresser.

I'll give it til Sunday evening, if I get a few badges arrive, I have them out on the table to study, 48 hours appears to be the limit! Then I start getting the 'look'.
An 18th Century Welsh Dresser, nice!

Chris
