Default Unknown cloth badge

Hi there, new to the whole ‘posting’ thing so forgive me if I do this wrong!

I’m trying to find some information on these sleeve badges on my grandfathers RAC uniform, particularly the one that looks like electricity spikes (in my uninformed opinion!!)

Thanks for any help

The formation sign is that of 21 Army Tk Bde (below). Above that on the shoulder strap is an RTR regimental ribbon - in this case probably 48 RTR. Below the sign is 1/4 scale representation of the formation sign - a red rectangle - the battle patch of 1 Can Inf Div - awarded to several British units as a form of battle honour for support provided to the Canadians.

Wow, you guys are amazing, thank you so much. It all fits with what we know, except the radio mechanic part, but he didn’t like to talk about it much so it’s highly possible he was and we just never knew
