Default Research Help

Hello everyone.
I'm hoping to get some help concerning an individual I wish to research. His name is John Walmisley and he flew with 237 (Rhodesia) Sqn during WW2. His last appointed rank was Squadron Leader, and he was Officer Commanding 237 Sqn in Corsica. He's listed as RAFVR......how would I go about finding info on him? I've searched the London Gazette to death and found 10 entries on him. 9 promotions/appointments and an MiD.
Hopefully someone can help out?

Mike, as you may or may not know, obtaining his war service record from the MoD (Ministry of Defence) will probably be difficult since you're not a relative. Check out the MoD website for their guidelines. My mother and I applied for my grandfather's army war service record about a year ago and are still waiting!
