Default West Cameroon Police Former British Cameroon United Kingdom Trust Territory 1961 -

During WW1 British and French forces captured German Kameroun and divided the colony. In 1961 the British Cameroon administered as a United Kingdom Trust Territory voted to have northern part of British Cameroon join Nigeria, and the southern region voted tojoin the Federal Republic of Cameroon (French) as West Cameroon. It was intended at the time that West Cameroon would have its own police force with many members coming from Nigeria Police.

This buckle is circa 1962 - 1972. Would anyone have a picture of a West Cameroon Police cap badge

Would any members have picture of the West Cameroon police badge or collars?

Regards, Greg
