Default SW NOTTS - SCOUTS ? CLOTH PATCH

Think its Boy Scouts , looks old but i cant find a similar example on web

Maybe Army Cadets / CCF. It doesn't look like scouts to me. I could be wrong.

I think it's scouts. I was asked about an identical badge last week. I live in Nottinghamshie and my son is in the SW Notts Scout group. The modern badge incorporates some of the features shown in your badge. I asked the scout leader if he thought it was a scout badge (he has been a scout for ever) and he said that it was.

Of course he may be wrong!

Sorry - I'm 99% sure is not a scouts badge, its not a variant in any of the scout badge reference material I have

Was there a Church Lads Brigade in the same area, colour and cloth are similar.

I hadn't thought of that. I am still doubtful of it being scouts. The shape, the cloth, everything looks wrong for scouts.

Attached are multiple variants of the SW Nottinghamshire Scout District badge - I am utterly convinced that the badge being discussed here is not a scout badge.
