Hi. Have just joined the Forum. I have been collecting British military headdress badges since my school days, 60 years ago. Have a large collection of West Surrey Regiment going back to 1840 but hundreds of other badges and look forward to getting help through Forum. Also ex RE, Sapper and Australian Army. From Sydney myself, but knew several Melbournians from the 1960s era, all passed long since, not many now left. Some of them like George Vazenry, Bunny Storer and Alfred Festburg published the first books on Australian badges.

Hello Mel, l used to live in Melbourne. I was friend's with John Price who wrote the book, Southern Cross Scots. He was a great bloke.
