QSA to Liverpool Regiment
I wonder if anyone is able to please tell me which battalion the QSA to 5839 Pte. J.W. Beckitt served with ?
Many thanks if you can help. P.B.

Many thanks to Kevin,
What I needed to know and very quickly. Before the internet became established, finding information like this might have involved employing a researcher and waiting weeks for the answer. Much appreciated. Peter

Thanks again Kevin,
Managed to negotiate a fairly large price reduction on the medal this morning so I bought it. Peter

Glad you picked it up Peter. I note that it is one of those examples where the clasps have been mounted in reverse order.

Very nice Peter,
I see he got his South Africa 1902 clasp from their supplementary volume in WO100/172, I therefore take it the rivets are correct and as issued, a nice medal, interesting to see the clasps in that order. Regards Frank |
