Hello Herve,
Thank you very much for the pm, I think, if I were you, I would take Michael's advice and open into negotiations with JDR.
I think I mentioned the embroidered Airborne strips to you, I don't like them, they were embroidered on to that awful melton type cloth that is prone to moth, but, they were worn throughout both divisions, so whilst you should certainly have examples of them, I would go for a printed example first.
Todays asking prices do leave me in a state of shock though, I think the most I ever paid for those that I bought would be £35 for a single printed and rather less for a single embroidered example, similar too, for the embroidered, curved Airborne shoulder titles, the world really has gone mad!
Kind regards Frank

I S Wright sell some great stuff but they are not specialist military sellers. They have a few advisors but their prices are usually two to three times realistic. Ive given up telling them. They must waste so much cash continually listing stuff that never sells.

As for Airborne titlesmI'm looking for a curved woven type, possibly theatre made as worn by a small RAF commanded unit. I'd gladly pay £17.00 from Bosley!

Probably because the wings were not worn underneath the airborne strips.

Looks very wrong to me, the one and only formation sign is on the wrong sleeve and as Luc points out, the wing is in the wrong position on the sleeve!

Sold for £387.99 to chairborne militaria; probably soon available through his webshop with a reasonable markup. And the matching set of Pegasus patches too.
