Titles
Friends,
The title is the last Belgian SAS pattern, white rather than light blue. The Belgian SAS originated in the Belgian Parachute Company, hence the regular British parachute wings, which sometimes continued to be worn instead of the regular SAS wings. Thanks, so the SAS title with light blue lettering on Marion is the earlier pattern?
And indeed most pics I have seen wore the parachute wing on the sleeve. And some but not all wore the SAS wing above the breast Pocket. |

Stef,
I think the maroon light blue was rather worn by British SAS HQ. 1st, 2nd and French 3rdSAS also wore maroon light blue titles. Cheerio, JB Last edited by HamandJam; 05-08-17 at 08:41 AM. |
