The badge looks ok to me. It is the same as another I have had in my collection for many years.

Recently acquired this 50 Commando badge which was in a small lot of an American soldier's wartime souvenirs.

Silly money really, for a not particularly rare badge.

I recall years ago buying an example from a stall holder at the Charring Cross market for £9 and selling it to another stall holder, Steven Bosley, for £45. Those were the days...
