SEAC South Burma District H.Q.
This badge looks very unlike the SEAC South Burma District H.Q. formation sign illustrated on the 12th Army formation sign poster that appeared elsewhere on the forum as it has no black on the wings.
It also appears to be quite crudely made. Apologies for the small size of the photographs and for lifting them from the net. |

Here is a matched pair from my collection, embroidered on wool. The note on the back is interesting as these signs and several other scarce ones were obtained from an American officer who served in the CBI theater. All have these notes indicating were he got them and the dates. Garth
