Default Mystery of The 30946 F-S Knives Solved..New Article

For all those interested in the F-S Fighting Knife, I have just had an article published in Knife Magazine.

The article finally solves the enduring mystery of those First Pattern F-S knives occasionally found with the 30946 serial number stamped into the hilt.

If you wish to get your own copy of the article then you can subscribe to Knife Magazine. However for those unable to subscribe, I have now loaded the full article (The Mystery Of The 30946 F-S Knives, Solved!) onto my Published Articles Page - linked below:

http://wilkinsonfscollection.com/wil...es_Solved.html

In due course I will write up an expanded/updated and more user friendly version as a web-article but will update you when that is complete.

It has now been a little over a year since Brian Moyse my dear friend and co-author died, so the timing for this co-authored article is poignant. Brian has been deeply missed and I hope he would be proud of this important finished work.

Cheerio,

Roy

Thank you Chaps for all your kind words.

I have written numerous articles on the F-S Knife over the years but this one seems to have struck a cord with so many, as I have been fielding positive emails and comments all week.

Since submitting the article, new examples have surfaces, so I'm in the process of transcribing the article into a dedicated web-article with the updates of course and so I can keep adding to the research and updating where necessary.

Cheers,

Roy
