Chindits. Cloth badge
Picture 1065.jpg I've had a look through the forum. I can't identify the cloth bages. The badges came with some 2nd. W. W. medals to the Welsh Regiment. I can see that the badges are to the 12th. Any help would be great. Lyn.

Twelth Army
A very nice printed, facing pair of Twelth Army formation signs This pattern sign was in use between about 28 May 45 and early 1946 (when Twelth Army was redesignated HQ Burma Command - which adopted the same design less the XII)

Mike. Thank you for the information. I purchased some 2nd. W.W. medals and the patches came with the medals plus another pair of black cats patches. All the best. Lyn.

The black cats (if standing with tails erect on khaki) are the sign of the famous 17th Indian Infantry Division.
