Default Unknown Gilding Metal Rose Badge For ID Please

Hello All

I have the badge pictured below but cannot identify it yet so any help would be appreciated. The badge is 35mm by 35mm and has 2 rounded lugs to the rear. I initially thought it was an East Lancs Regiment collar badge but the majority of those I have seen are approx 27 - 28mm. I also considered the Coldstream Guards shoulder title rose but again I believe they are approx 27 - 28mm and they tend to have square/hexagonal lugs to the rear. Is this badge at 35mm a collar badge, part of a shoulder title, an arm badge or something else.

Many thanks in advance

Paddy

Default Rose

I believe the Duke of Lancasters Yeomanry wore a rose as a headdress badge, I am not sure what the size was.

Hello Rob

Many thanks for your comment. According to K&K the officer's slouch hat badge was 2.8cm in size. This badge is quite a bit bigger than that at 3.5cm.
