Default bullion wings II.

Dear All,
The wings I received are in fact much larger than expected...
They show some wear.
Once again your thoughts are welcome !
Regards,
Dominique

Well, they are indeed rather larger than I would have expected, given your other mess dress thread, but, I still think they are rather strange overall, when I first saw them, I just thought, no, but, if they are completely spurious, where are the rest of them?

Not something I would have bought, however, I do not think they are rubbish, they are certainly nicely made, just very peculiar in their design.

Could they be a blazer badge, a little over 4 inches wide would fit on the breast pocket of a blazer.

Blazer badges are often not as detailed/accurate as those made for military uniform.

It is certainly an oddity, I don't think it has any pre war age to it, but, if a blazer badge, why a wing though?
Then again, why not, it's not impossible.

Your thoughts are much appreciated , thank you.
Could this " exotic" wing badge be of Indian manufacture ?
