Default WW1 Royal Welsh Fusiliers Shoulder Titles - help needed

Hi All,

I've been asked to frame up a relative's medals and badges and was looking for a bit of advice.

These are his original badges but they are missing one of the T's.

I know he was in the 4th battalion, are there some number 4's missing as well or did they not wear them?

Thanks for the help,

Michael

Michael.

Yes there are T 4 RWF titles, have seen seperate four part s/t so agree you are missing a 4, do have both brass and w/m (as per image).

Ta

That is a sans-serif T, not usual for S/Ts. Regards, Paul.

Ok, as I say they are all his original badges that were passed down with his medals, if it's not a shoulder title is there anything else it could be?

Could he have worn just the grenade and rwf letters? I can understand a single T going missing over time but both number 4's seems a bit odd.

Thanks for the help,

Michael

Hello Michael-I have no knowledge on TF RWF- perhaps it was used-I can only say most TF Ts are not like that. Regards, Paul.
