Unknown flash , another try
This came with some Indian Army items and looks Indian made although may be barking up wrong tree, I wonder if it is a pagri flash or perhaps an Australian flash after all, Regards Kevin

If the background is blue, it might be for the 61st division?

That's a possibility. It looks a bit small to be a helmet or bush hat flash - looks to me more like some obscure WW1 battalion flash. I don't think that it is Australian.

All the 61st Division signs I've come across have been Royal Blue and mainly with a vertically elongated diamond; I'd say this one is definitely black. My first instinct was also that it may be Australian, but doesn't seem to fit...

My gut feeling is that it is not Australian too , It could well be a WW1 flash , it is black also and the diamond is fairly square, Might be one of those where you never find out.

Absolutely not Australian, but no other suggestions.

Here are two examples of the felt/felt 61 Inf Div sign - referred to earlier.

For reference, the height of the diamond in the first image is 37mm
