Default ID Unit Patch on Australian Slouch Hat

Could you please help me ID this unit patch? The slouch hat is dated 1945.

From page 156 in DISTINGUISHING COLOUR PATCHES OF THE AUSTRALIAN MILITARY FORCES 1915 - 1951 by Keith Glyde:

"1254. 2/3rd Aust. Casualty Clearing Station, 1940-1945: Auth. Colour patch chart promulgated with AHQ(DOS) Memo No. 70030, 21.10.1940."
