Default 30th Bn NSWS

Silver plated sporran badge stamped K.G.Luke.
Does this stamp date the badge in any way?

hi ron
surely scottish rgts still wear kilts at various times? and especially the pipe bands.
Martin buckley who wrote "scarlet and tartan" states this badge was worn from around 1935 to the early 1960s.
i dare say this badge was even worn later by various pipe bands

A (Scottish)Company 2/17th Royal New South Wales Regiment still wear the kilt and the same sporran badge as the 30th Bn. Their heritage is linked back to the 30th Bn NSW Scottish.
