Default 21st Essex Fusiliers Sweetheart

Here is an extremely rare pre WW1 21st Essex Fusiliers, of Windsor Ontario, sweetheart pin that I sold recently to a local collector. It was made by Guant, and
an old ad found in a Windsor newspaper after opening of the Windsor Armouries in 1903, advertised these for sale at $5.00. It is about the size of a nickel, with pin and catch attachement.
