Well I today got a packet from the Newport Troop RLC Detachment Commander containing the RLC Cloth Beret Badge, Shoulder Title & County Badge, in reply to my letter dated June 2009. He apologies for the delay, as the letter had been filed with no reply, and has only now come to his notice. He confirms the Cloth Beret Badges are no longer worn.
