This is embroidered on wool with black cloth tight weave backing.

Not to sure if this is WWII or Korean era.

Would that have been issued during the cold war period c 1955 Wet Germany.

And I take it , it is Canadian made?

Hi Phill, the QOCHC were not overseas after the war. They served in Canada. In 1949 they requested a new pattern title, and had the one below approved. It isn't clear when they came into wear, but it was by 1954.
