Default 13th Hussars Field Cap Badge.

Does a VC crown version of KK 771 cap badge exist, as noted in DRESS REGULATIONS FOR THE ARMY, plate 49, row "C" #3. I always wondered about it,
as I have never come across it to date.
Any info greatly appreciated,
Thank You,
Michael

A QVC badge certainly does exist and was authorised for wear as an officers cap badge in the DRs. Whether in practice it was worn as officers' collar or cap or both, is open to debate.

The other ranks was the full wreath badge or no badge at all when wearing the pill box hat during that period.

Regards,
Michael

One die struck crown and a die cast body. Not one I would buy.
