Default Regulations on cap badge wear?

Hello all,

Recognizing the wide variety of size and shape of WWI period cap badges, I’m curious about the ‘official’ word on how cap badges were supposed to have been correctly located on the field service cap. Is there a written reg or diagram in a general manual?

Do you mean the Forage Cap?

Not many wore a FSC in WW1.
