Hello!
New member from PA USA saying hello! I was a small time militaria collector and dealer from London, then sold most my collection off to move to the USA.
Oh how I miss places like old Warnham, Chatham, Detling, Tonbridge, Farnham, Malvern and Bromley to name but a few! But looking on the bright side, at least my Enfields are now live!
Seems I have been buying badges of a few members here via Ebay!
Many thanks, Chris.

Hello Chris,

Welcome to the forum!

Where in PA are you?

I spent 8 years over the river in Frenchtown, 26 miles north of Trenton. Spent a lot of time in PA - some nice places.

cheers,

Andy C

Hi Chris,

Welcome from another ex-pat. This forum helps to keep us a little sane over this site of the pond.

Been all over this great country but now settled (for the time being) in Arizona. Went through PA a couple of times some years back.

Grand to have you on board and look forward to hearing more of your collecting interests.

Cheers, Roy.

Not so Sunny Donny as it used to be in NJ, that's for sure. Although, we have actually had a not bad year.

Remember King Of Prussia, used to go to Philly a lot, Allentown even more, and the obligatory trip to Gettysburg, Hershey & Amish country. Not to mention up by Scranton en route to Niagra falls with yet another set of visitors.

What's your collecting interests nowadays?

cheers,

Andy C

Nice to here from another Brit who resides over here!

All the best, Chris.

Hi Chris,

Gosh, the weather 'yes' for sure, but I'm 5,000 feet up so it's not too hot - just wonderful..!

And...the gun laws, or lack there of...

Thanks for the kind words on my website, a labour of love!

Cheers, Roy.

Hello Andy.
Yes Allentown FODHS is always worth a visit for militaria. Every now and then I bump into faces from the UK, at the show collecting items.
My collecting was quite varied from German Helmets to FN FALs (and everything in between). I am trying to cut down now, and trying to get into WW1 trios and WW1 Infantry cap badges. ( Yup, picked the wrong time to start this!)
All the best, Chris.

Hi Chris

I hail about a 90 minute drive west of you in Mechanicsburg.
Did you happen to make it to the Allentown show this past weekend?
I scored a few items. Since I'm new to the hobby, they were all good hauls for me. Met an expat from Liverpool named Alan there. Nice guy, had alot of badges/patches for sale.

Welcome to Pennsyltucky...enjoy the gun laws while you can.
Make sure you vote often & proper if you enjoy them.

Todd
