Default Plastic ACF Chaplain's cap badge...

WTF. Over? Am I dreaming or what exactly is this? It looks like someone has overlaid a ACF lapel badge over a chaplain's cross.

Isn't this an ACF chaplain's stole badge?

I don't know. I've never seen one in plastic. Is it legit?

I just have a vague recollection of seeing one before. I don't know if the A Stanley marked badges are being faked. It looks like its okay, it also looks varnished, it would be odd to make the badge up and varnish it, then make the varnish manky?

Okay. That being said, how common of a badge is it?

well it is uncommon in the sense that it isn't mentioned in the two fairly conclusive articles on plastic badges in Militaria Magazine, but I't looks pretty genuine to me.

Rgds,

Thomas.
