Default ILH small title

Hi all,

I picked up this small ILH title, brass with square (?) lugs and partly silvered on the face; I've never seen one before!

a 444.jpga 443.jpg

regards Iain

Hi Ian,
Looks like a WWII lead cast title that was 'gold color' plated. Most of plating has come off showing the lead 'silver colour' casting

Thanks for the interest

It seems to be brass; if you look at the lugs there are scratches but only brass shows. I did think it may be a WWII lead cast but its also very light and the silver is shiny like it may have been chromed?
Also why such a small title?

Sorry cant be of more help. From photographs and type of lugs it looked like the typical WWII lead titles.

It may be later title made up for wear on the shoulder chains the ILH wore with there dress blues. Again just throwing out possibilities.

Hi Frank,

not expensive, I actually got in a batch with several other badges so I was lucky.
I've never seen a small ILH title like this before, thanks

regards, Iain
