Default Charity Commission Suspends Service Charity

"Support the Heroes" has been ordered to suspend fundraising

"A veterans charity that became the subject of a BBC Scotland investigation has been ordered to suspend fundraising by the charities watchdog."

On today of all days I thought this story might have had a higher profile:

There was also another charity called Afghan Heroes that was involved in a similar sting, all the donations went through another company who skimmed off some money. the lowest of the low, they are also under investigation.

I had never even heard of Afghan Heroes before this thread, so I looked for some information on what they have been up to:

Another one:

"Boss of Army charity Invicta Foundation posed with Prince Harry - but only a fraction of donations go to needy veterans".
