Sorry if it's hijacking the thread but does anyone have a pic of the Ealing War Memorial?
Thanks, Lee

Default KRRC Memorial Wimbledon Common

The War Memorial that features on the page in the link below may be of interest to those following this long running thread. Not strictly London Regiment but closely linked and situated in London.

A great day yesterday for the boys of Orasot, we had our Christmas Dinner at the Rifles club in Davies St, drill hall of the QVR's We all felt very proud to dine there, we got a guided tour of the building too which was fantastic and now allows me to add pics of the 9th Londons war memorial, enjoy,
Wilf

I've been doing some research and have come up with the locations of a few more not mentioned here or in other threads. Most are plaques inside churches or TA centres so I would expect an arrangement will be needed to view them.

23rd London - St.Mary's Church, Church Road, Battersea SW11 3NA
20th London - Hollyhedge House TA Centre, Blackheath
10th London - St. John's Church, Lower Clapton Road, Hackney E5. Confusion here as the inscrption reads City of London, the 10th were County of London.
17th London - St.Mary & Holy Trinity Church, Bow Roaw, Bow, E3. It appears this is on a crucifix which used to be in the regiments' old church St.Stephens in Tredegar Road which was bombed in WW2.
8th London - St. Botolph's without Aldersgate, Aldersgate St, EC1
16th London - Westminster TA Centre, Fulham High St, SW6

All info take from searches on http://www.ukniwm.org.uk/server/show...n/1/viewPage/3

No luck on the 7th or 18th London's though.

It looks as though the London Irish memorial is or was at the Duke of York's HQ, Chelsea.

A short Pathé news clip from the unveiling of the QWR memorial at Westminster Abbey, in 1923 (as mentioned in post #123 above).

Not a great deal to see, but I assume the men on parade are Queen's Westminster Riflemen:

I'm staying in Bermondsey for a few days and walked past the 22nd London memorial this morning and took a couple of pics.

The old TA drill hall has gone but the memorial now appears to be built into new, or at least clean looking accommodation. Although it's looking cleaner than in Keith's photo, there was only one small weathered remembrance cross in the planters whereas the Bermondsey war memorial was looking very well looked after and covered in poppies.

Default HAC Memorial

If I may, I'd like to add to the photos already posted of the HAC memorial window at Armoury House:
