Default RCEME Scully modified...

I was looking at my collection and noticed that one of my RCEME post-war badge has been modified.

The lugs were cut and filed away and a slider was fixed to it.

It way have been "plated" too...

Marked "Scully Ltd Montreal"

Common practice?
