Default IT PAYS TO GO TO CHURCH MY LATEST HOARD

HI , Whilst visiting a local church to place a price in for clearing the cellars and vaults of junk and old furnishings I got in to conversation with the church trustee about the stone war memorial this conversation lead in to how he had a box of ` army stuff` he wanted to clear ot from home .

The church trustee was a relative of Cpl James ` Jim` Tate whos british battle dress and GS beret can seen ,

I will gloss over the German items as this is not the place ,the B.D is badged up to the 43 rd WESSEX div and is beautifully grubby an well worn so almost certainly his ` Working ` BD, nice backing to the capbadge

There isa really nice honest Great War trade badge a `spur` and a stunning beautiful silk union flag not sure of age but a pal who is in to those thing reckons it Victorian ? a few of these usual ` odds n sods` booklets manuals pls a nice Great war trio to the K.O.S.B`s .

Any comments with any of these items or help is welcome as always

Looks like a nice Kangol 1945 red beret with a Parachute Regiment badge outline visible. I assume this was included but you don't seem to mention it in your post?
