Unfortunately only able to check Medal Index Card which shows date of enlistment - 04.12.1915 and discharged 29.10.1918.

The War Badge roll lists Ernest Parrish discharged due to sickness.
Date of enlistment: 4.12.15 Date of discharge: 20.10.18 Age: 28 years Served overseas: Yes Regards, Andrew |

His medals were sold at auction on 18 Mar 2022 , wrongly listed as PTE E.N. PARRISH .

His medical records show he had Pleurisy. See attached.

Medals and badges
Interesting as to why the medals to 57287 Ernest W. PARRISH, Prince of Wales West Yorks. Regt. were sold with two East Yorkshire cap badges, without the medals having been named it would be easy to attribute the man to have served in the East Yorks.
