Default Canadian Legion Maple Leaf Shows

A reproduction title for the Canadian Legion Maple Leaf Shows is currently being offered on ebay. It is one of the reproductions that appeared around ten-fifteen years ago. The offering is shown front and back in the first two images. The last two images show a good title over top of a similar reproduction.

The vendor was contacted and this is the response:
It's an opinion.
The sourced repros have a modern quality texture wool base fiber and typically have smooth weave backing cloth. The mess embroidery is typical for many WW1 and WW2 cloth insignia. Tidy or messy is not always a denominator of authenticity. I have Calgary Highlanders insignia to a soldier that has messy weave reverse. The wool cloth has a old texture and aged quality in both examples.
Thank you for your concern and thoughts.

One of the great concerns is the issue that once these have floated around for a period of time, someone will want to make a profit off of garbage.
